Subject: Ottawa Universal Sure-Seal Exhaust Clamps™ Dear Jeff: I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your associates for working extensively with Gradall to develop a clamp for our flex tube applications that would eliminate "blow-by" at the solid tube/flex tube connection points. Gradall had tried 3 other manufacturers' designs in the past without success. After your extensive efforts to solve our problem, which required about 3 or 4 redesign efforts, you finally developed a clamp which has proven to work in our application. We conducted extensive testing on prototype machines and have since inspected over 20 finished and tested production machines and observed no signs of blow-by exhaust residue. We are very pleased to hear that as a result of our joint effort you have been successful in expanding your business for this design with other customers. Gradall is looking forward to doing additional business with you in the future.
